Trilagavit Film Coated Tablet is a combination of 3 vitamins B1 (200 mg), Vitamin B6 (100 mg) and Vitamin B12 (1 mg). The therapeutic action of the Trilagavit association exceeds substantially the tital effect of the three vitamins adminstered seperately. This synergism makes the product very useful particularly for the treatment of acute cases or when a prompt reaction is required. Thiamine works as a coenzyme and is involved in many chemical reactions in the body. It is required by all cells in the body to make ATP. It plays a role in memory and is involved in fatty acid synthesis. Pyridoxine works in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and protein. It acts as a coenzyme in the conversion of tryptophan to niacin or serotonin. It also plays a role in the utilization of glucose. Cyanocobalamine is an essential ingredient needed by the body. It plays an important role in all cells, including those in the stomach and intestines, nerve cells and bone marrow cells. It is important for the maturation of red blood cells.
