Rayodin 1% USP Povidone Iodine Mouthwash, 200ml

Rayodin Mouthwash and Gargle is an antibacterial and antifungal oral rinse to alleviate sore throat. Formulated with 1% povidone iodine USP which possesses antibacterial, antifungal & antiviral features, used for the treatment of acute infections of the lining of the mouth and throat. It is effective against all streptococcal organisms and may be used in the treatment of streptococcal tonsillitis and sore throat. Rayodin Mouthwash and gargle is alcohol free and can be used to treat gum inflammation and mouth ulcers. It kills most viruses responsible for sore throat. Betadine may be used in the treatment of oral thrush. It can be used for cleansing the mouth (oral hygiene) before, during and after dental and mouth surgery.

How to Use:

Adults, the elderly and children over 6 years of age : Use undiluted with an equal volume of warm water. Gargle or rinse with up to 10 ml of Rayodin Mouthwash and Gargle for up to 30 seconds without swallowing. Repeat up to four times daily, for up to 14 days in a row, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use for more than 14 days. Before using Rayodin Mouthwash and Gargle, do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to povidone iodine or any of the excipients, if you currently have or have ever had a thyroid problem, if you are currently having lithium therapy for depression, on children under 6 years of age, if your skin is broken, or if you currently have or have ever had a kidney problem.
